Tour Highlights:

10-Day Best of Uganda Safari From $6,950 per person

Day: 1

This adventure will give you the opportunity to watch these endangered, magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. All the rhinos at Ziwa are free to move around the 27 square miles within the ranch. Therefore, it is often necessary to drive to the areas where the rhinos are, before continuing the trek on foot.

Day: 2

The best game drives in Murchison Falls National Park take place across the wildlife-rich Northern Bank, renowned for its open savannah, acacia woodlands, and high concentrations of big game like lions, elephants, giraffes, and buffaloes.

Day: 3

Traveling from Kampala or Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park takes about 5 to 6 hours by road (approximately 326 kilometers) via the paved Kampala-Fort Portal highway through Mubende.

Day: 4

Chimpanzee trekking is one of the best activities that is sought after by many tourists who come to Uganda. Just like gorilla trekking, it involves trekking through the forest in search of the chimpanzees that keep on swinging from one tree to the next.

Day: 5

Boat rides. Game drives around the Kasenyi plains can also be combined with boat rides on the Kazinga channel which can be done in the morning or in the afternoon. The Kazinga channel is formed where Lake Edward meets Lake George.

Day: 6

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park takes approximately 2 to 4 hours by road, depending on which sector of Bwindi you are starting from or heading to.

Day: 7

Gorilla trekking is conducted mainly within the tropical rain forest and it can rain at any time of day. Due to this, visitors are encouraged to come with a rain jacket or poncho to protect them from rain water while tracking gorillas.

Day: 8

A road or air transfer from Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park covers approximately 228 to 236 kilometers and takes about 3.5 to 5 hours by road or 1.5 hours by charter flight.
